Hostback had a genuinely different idea for a hosting company, but nothing built yet - no website to bring in customers, and no way to actually run the referral cashback model the whole idea was built around.
A marketing website to capture new customers, plus a login-protected customer portal where existing customers manage their own hosting account. The standout feature is the referral system - customers earn a percentage of cashback for every person they refer, for as long as that referred customer stays with Hostback, with no cap on how much they can earn. Referral tiers reward customers further the more people they bring in.
After a 6-month build, Hostback launched with everything working end to end - marketing site, account management, and the full tiered referral system. The client is already planning a version 2 with Dunevo in the next month or two.
